A mother's guide to using Baby Massage, Relaxation & Pelvic Floor Strengthening.
Baby massage is a great way to relieve some of the symptoms as well as help you calm down and bond with your baby. I hope some of the techniques I talk about in this book help you to bond and/or relieve your baby from any discomfort they might be experiencing. Being a mom can be wonderful however, it can also be the most stressful thing you have ever done. Finding even five minutes “timeout” to be able to decrease your stress levels is incredibly important for your health and well being.
The section on relaxation is essential and I hope it will give you the tools to help you regain some level of control when you will undoubtedly at times feel like you’ve lost it. Getting back into exercise is very important to me, as it has always been a big part of my life. By exercising not only do you release endorphins to help with your mood, you feel empowered that you are doing something to get back what your little bundle of joy distorted, your body! The pelvic floor exercises in the last section are step one, on the road to getting back into activity.
