Concerning Women Considering Children

Helen May tells a selection of stories and provides some historical context and insight into a range of events and situations that, from the inception of the Childcare Association, confronted an organisation which:

• engaged in emancipatory politics of social justice for women, children and their families,
• worked on the broad front to change attitudes and create a policy framework for childcare,
• created in the short-term its own programmes to give children in childcare a better experience, and
